What a shock. My condolences go out to Laurie and Chris' family. When I first met Chris in person (at SPAH last year) I was amazed at his jazz playing, and his generosity to so many young players. A smart wise-acre indeed. Can someone post (or email me off-list) an address or other contact info for his wife?
