Re: [Harp-L] Re: Chris Michalek R.I.P

I am deeply affected by this loss. Over the years Chris said some
things I really didn't like and yet continually surprised me with
offers of friendship. Within the last year he had unsolicitedly sent
me emails about things that seemed to be very personal to him. When
I dealt with Chris a part of me held some fear that he would say
something else I didn't like so it was a practice of mine to be with
Chris in the moment, who he was at that moment. I am saddened by what
I missed during the times I failed and biased his actions based on
past experiences. In any case, there was no one else in the world
like Chris. I believe him to have been a very important player both
in music and our lives. Condolences to his family and friends.
