Following the discussion of portable amps...
I was just in Costco (U.S.) and saw this Ion Tailgater portable amp for
something like $120. Rechargeable battery that supposedly lasts eight or
more hours on a charge. Seven inch speaker with a separate tweeter. IPod
dock, mic input, instrument input, aux input, volume control for each of the
inputs plus master volume. No tone control. It has an output jack in the
rear - don't know if it is line or speaker level.
Anyone tried this for harp?
