Re: [Harp-L] vibrato vs, tremolo
Vibrato is a cyclic (repeating) variation in pitch, also known as a warble.
Tremelo is a cyclic variation in volume/amplitude, like on a guitar tube amp. Wah-wah-wah...
Vibrato on the harmonica is created by slightly bending the note with your tongue and throat. ..ee-oh-ee-oh
Tremelo comes from the diaphram, below the throat. Try laughing while drawing in. ah-ah-a-a-ah-ah-aha
Hope this helps!

Can some please explain the difference between vibrato and tremolo? Which is more commonly used, and how does one attain each? Thanks.
