Re: [Harp-L] Re: Gindick

Annie Raines tells me that she got started from a Jon Gindick book she found in a college bookstore.

I remember teaching at one of the Jam Camps a few years aback, and somewhere about 9 PM, in the thick of all the teaching and jamming, I passed Jon in the hallway. He was flushed and grinning from ear to ear. I forget exactly what triggered what he said to me, but what said was, "And you can teach AS MUCH AS YOU LIKE!," as if teaching harmonica was the greatest happiness possible on the face of the earth. And at that particular moment, I as on the same high and couldn't have agreed more.

Jon brings that kind of infectious enthusiasm to his teaching and his Jam Camps, which is one of the reasons they're so successful and why he has so many repeat attendees.

Me too. I have Jon to thank (or blame?) for everything that's happened
since.
