Rick,

Interesting that you should mention the Melodica. They are bronze and
are shaped with taper and yes they have a much purer tone not just to
the ear but also to measurement. it is one of the reason that i don't
understand why Hohner, who has both the know how and the technology
have not experimented with this. I will have to ask them if they
have done any of this and if so with what results as it does not just
make sense.
