[Harp-L] Norwegian Wood

The head is mixolydian and so is playable in the upper register.
But, as Boris pointed out, the bridge is dorian so you need a flat 3d
which is not available in the upper register unless one can OB. But
I don't OB. I do play in multiple positions, though.
Like Mundharp, i would never have thought of playing this tune on a
diatonic. But the particular jazz band leader who calls this tune
when I sit in will regularly call tunes he thinks I can handle on the
diatonic without OBs, many of which i would never have attempted to
play on my own. But he insists i play on the tunes he calls and, as
it turns out, he's always been right. So, playing with this guy has
been great for my musical development, AND if I can't pick up the
tunes purely by ear he's willing to write stuff out for me in note
names, which makes the material so much easier to learn.
 Count my blessings!
