Official  Notice from Jason's booking agency, thru Jonathan Metts:
"Jason's previously  scheduled tour for fall 2010 has been canceled.
Please keep checking the gig  list and Harp-L for news of when his public 
performances will  resume,
possibly with workshops and local shows in the Nashville area and  
hopefully a national tour in 2011."
 
Before this, there was a mention of Jason going into the studio with a new  
guitarist and other musicians.

Where are you  getting this "looks like" news? You don't cite a source. 
Jason's new website  doesn't mention it.

Looks like  Jason Ricci has canceled his entire 2010 tour.  As a nurse I 
have
to say  I think it's a good thing.  I never thought he should be trying to
come  back so soon given the health issues.

As a fan I have to say I hope his  health continues to improve and I really
hope he comes to my city in  2011.
