It makes him a 12 year old who made an LP. The fact that he is hard
of seeing means that he was a 12 year old sight challenged boy who
made an LP. The fact that he made the LP makes him a 12 year old
musician who is very talented for one so young and with so many
handicaps. It makes him wonderful (sic). But genius? I don't think
so. Genius is an over used term. Just like star. There was a time
when a person could work all their life and never reach star status.
Lately, even child artists are stars. By the time they reach
adolescence, they are 'super stars'. Then 'MEGA stars'. Whaaaaa? Naa,
I agree with Richard Sleigh. The term is too limiting....and
intimidating. It stifles creativity.
