I totally agree that it is one of the best if not the best album ever 
recorded.  Has there ever been a better horn section than Miles, Trane, and 
Cannonball Adderly in a band?  I appreciate all suggestions for jazz 
players and tunes to listen to.

So name a cover of All Blues you like?  It'd be tough to beat the line
up on Kind of Blues.  The upside of this thread is it got me to listen
to my vinyl copy.  Nothing is recorded like this any more.  That big
open sound stage, all that space sonically.  I recently listened to Time
Out, Take 5 on an older stereo, AR 2XA's for speakers, wow!  Another
superbly recorded and engineered recording.  fjm
