Not finding any patent information for the Harmonetta on the item or in a quick search I went to Pat Missin's website assuming he might have it there ( http://www.patmissin.com ). He didn't, so I asked him for help. He explained that there wasnt any single patent covering the Harmonetta, but rather several which show parts of it's development and sent the patent numbers (all US here) for those.
First are two patents which show the ideas of the Harmonetta in genesis by Hans Bilbus:
US2478963
Which shows a multi-slider instrument similar to several featured on Pat's patent section.
US2827818
Which shows a more developed instrument with buttons for the keys and air-blocking mechanisms at the end of the chambers.
The actual mechanism for the Harmonetta is found in a patent by Kurt Mast focusing on accordions, but which does include a "mouth organ" as well:
US2646712
I want to thank Pat Missin for finding these and sending them on.
