Hi, I use a Line 6 Tone Port UX2. Not expensive. Comes with amp and pre-amp
emulation software (Gearbox) and lots of effects. Can be used with Hi-z or
Low-z mics (phantom power too). It comes boxed with Ableton Live Lite. I
think this is a very value for money Instrument/computer interface.
Sometimes though I get too carried away with the effects,
Chris Canning.

Is their software available that will allow playing through a PC that will
emulate amps/effects. Just to clarify play into PC mike with sound coming
out in real time through the speakers/headphones.
Thanks.
