Re: [Harp-L] Playing While Driving

A few years ago my wife and I had to drive to New Mexico from Oregon due to a family emergency. It is 1750 miles one way. On the way there,Âwe listened to books on tape and drove non-stop to get there in 24 hours. I stayed for 3 days and then had to drive home solo. Fortunately I had previously loaded CDs into the10 diskÂchanger with harp tunes consolidated by harp key. I drove 12 hours a day for two days and by the timeÂI got home I had totally shredded my lips, but had improved my playing by leaps and bounds.

My favorite place to play is in my car.ÂWhen my wife can't find me around the house, she looks in the driveway first.

I play :
during my 10 minute commute to and from work,
while walking to Burger King to get my lunch
while pumping gas.
while sitting on a bench while my wife shops Wal-Mart
