The 1938 movie "Carefree" has Fred Astaire playing harmonica while dancing and playing golf. I don't know who the real harmonica player was. In the 30's there were many dance/harmonica combinations-remember the Major Bowes Amateur Hour (smokey joe might). The most famous though were Larry Adler and Paul Draper in the 1940's.
