Hi Tom,
Tony Eyers here, from Australia. You mentioned that
"My wife comes to all the shows and all the blues jams I go to, which is
usually a couple every week. She enjoys all of it."
My wife is generally supports my musical activities, but long ago tired
of watching me do them. My brother, a recording studio owner, is in a
similar position.
My partial solution was to express my harmonica ideas online, rather
than on live stages. This kept me a t home more, a necessary thing as I
have young children. The result: two harmonica teaching websites,
http://www.HarmonicaAcademy.com and http://www.kouqin.com.cn The latter
is in China, and has almost 50000 members. My wife is Chinese, and likes
these endeavours. However, like many side projects, they have gotten a
little out of hand....
Cheers,
Tony
