Yeah, for me, my wife pretty much actively dislikes my musical endeavors -
the time commitment away from her / the family, the money, etc. It's a
constant source of conflict. I've lost track of the number of gigs I've
headed out the door to in the wake of a fight about it....More often than
not I feel guilty about my passion for playing music. She's never been a
live music fan, anyway. Give her a Duran Duran mix tape and away she
goes.....
...And yet, I still must do it....although nowhere as much as I'd like
to....
