You tend to get what you pay for.
Buy a new Fender guitar amp, it will probably give good service for a  
while. But if you want reliability "hard wired" is the way to go rather than  
printed circuit boards. And an amplifier is as good as its component  parts.
Sonny's amps are built as well as they can be...
In my opinion, they are  simply, as good as it gets...
