I have two of them. They make good harp mics, if you favor a more 
brilliant and detailled sound over the "brown" and singing distortion 
Shure CR/CM provide. However among EV mics i like the 638 and/or 641 
more. They have more output and are (IMHO) easier to hold, though 
heavier than a 605.
Personally the 638 is one of my favorite mics.
