If you can find a face to face teacher, then I would recommend it.
Nothing replaces actually hearing the instrument live, plus a weekly
lesson will focus your practice.
If you can't find a teacher, then look at Adam Gussow's YouTube videos.
Here you will see a great master and communicator. His enthusiasm for
the instrument is hard to ignore. Adam also has teaching material at
www.modernbluesharmonica.com Dave Barrett's material is excellent, and
available at www.harmonicamasterclass.com. If you're interested in
online lessons, try mine at www.HarmonicaAcademy.com
If you're making progress with Jon Gindick's book, then stick with it.
Also consider attending on of Jon's Jam Camps (easily found online). Jon
is a master at putting new players at ease, and engaging with their
progress. Plus he has terrific tutors at his camps.
