Does anybody know if a new version of the H2 is due - as the H4n has been out a while now?

There's a new version of the firmware posted just a few days ago at
http://www.zoom.co.jp/english/download/software/h2.php
Here's my beef with the H2. You have to hit the record button twice
because the first hit is for level testing and the second one actually
initiates the recording process.
I myself and a number of my friends have missed recording gigs because we
have forgotten to make that second button hit.
I wrote them a polite note suggesting that they make the two-hit system
into an option, and got a dismissive note saying that this might be
suggested at some design meeting at some point.
For a company that got almost everything SOOOOO right, they really are
being boneheads about this.
