[Harp-L] social networking invitations (FB)

How this happens is somebody clicks yes to allow the social networking
software to go look at your contacts list and collect addresses.  Everyone
in contacts gets an e-mail.  It's just one brand of social networking
either. When this happens and the request gets sent to the list I moderate
the address the request came from.  It doesn't happen twice.  By the way
you'd have to share your e-mail account password with the FB Team for this
to happen.  As the internet becomes more intertwined it reaches out with
its tendrils into the oddest places.  I would encourage people to just
delete the offending e-mails and move on.  The offence wasn't intended and
it really wasn't purposeful.  harp-l-listowner
