[Harp-L] Norton

I'm truly saddened by the loss of one of the harmonica world's greatest exponents and a really nice guy. I'm sorry I didn't get to know him better . He lived in NoCal and I'm down in
SoCal. I did take him out to my fave local Mexican restaurant that I love to take friends from out of town to. It was kind of out of the way for him and another harmonica buddy
but he knew I was going to turn him onto something good so he went for it.
We had a great time slamming margies, eating just-made tortillas and seafood. (It's Paco's , BTW) It seemed reflective of his attitude of being very open to life, welcoming it
and being inclusive with people. He always was playing. We met @ the NAMM show in Anaheim and I was surprised that someone who's played as many gigs as him was still
so in love with the instrument.
I'm recovering now from the shock. I want to go to the service in Paradise with my friend Roy Rogers . I hope to see some of you there and we can celebrate the life of a great man.
