Norton was the first harmonica player I went to see live after starting to
learn the instrument myself. I saw him pretty much every opportunity I got
after that and never tired of his playing or his show. He was very gracious
and always make himself available for a chat after the gig. I consider him a
true innnovator. He had incredible diversity and was happy to style his
playing to many genres. I'm still reeling from this loss - it all happened
so quickly.
