Re: [Harp-L] Free Blues backing tracks
Tony thank you.
Having good back tracks help so much.
MY brother is teaching him self how to play the guitar. He had stopped. Yesterday we had gone over to celebrate both his sons (5) my daughters birthday (22) . I asked him how his practice was going and he told me he had stop..
since I had brought my gear, I hooked up to his amp and played to some of his back tracks...and I got him into guiterbacktracks, it gave him back the bug and started to practice again...
He has not heard me play in 3 months and his wife notice that I'm hitting the notes better and I know where each note was... as opposed to the last time where I was trying and guessing.

Subject: [Harp-L] Free Blues backing tracks
For many years I've been using Band in a Box. Their latest feature is
"Real Tracks", which essentially allow the creation of live backings.
I've made 20 tracks (mostly blues) in a variety of styles and tempos,
and put them on my Harmonica Academy site.
These tracks are excellent for harmonica practice. To hear them go to

You'll be able to play the tracks in G. Harmonica Academy members can
also download them, as well as playing tracks in other keys.
Queries about backing tracks often appear. These ones are worth hearing
