[Harp-L] Getting started with tongue blocking... Key, Holes,

Think of yourself as a (lip blocker) not purser...Now imagine how your bottom lip is blocking the holes to each side of the hole that you are inhaling or exhaling through. Use that knowledge to think how your tongue would be used to block holes...Stick the bottom four holes of the harp in your mouth, INHALE and upon EXHALE move your tongue forward until it touches the face of the harp and practice blocking the first 3 holes and letting the 4th blow note sound from the corner of your mouth. If the 4 blow note sounded then keep your tongue in place and now inhale the draw note. You are now officially a tongue blocker - go forth and multiple!
