You must have been very unlucky. I've been using SP20s for almost 20 years and must have bought dozens in that time.

I must have regardless of manufacturer. I've had to have bought well over 100 harps I'd say a %60 were playable



The moral of the tale is simple. Learn the basics of tuning and gapping. If you can't for any reason, and OOTB harps are not acceptable,


This my point... Why one time an OOTB harp works great. When the next time I order time the same OOTB harp it takes an act of Congress to bend? I'm not asking for harps built just the way I like, just some damned consistency in the model.
