One last little tidbit from that interview. Charlie said session careers are in four stages.
1. The producer says: "Who's Charlie?"
2. The producer says: "I gotta have Charlie."
3. The producer says: "Find me somebody young who sounds just like Charlie."
4. Producer says: "Who's Charlie?"

Steve Webb in Minnesota, where my band has shut down for the summer and may not restart in the fall.
