I also sometimes generate tracks in BIAB and then export MIDI and pour it into Sonar for editing. I generally prefer to write my own backgrounds, but sometimes BIAB can supply a useful track or give a stylistic take that I might not have come up with. I've used that approach with a few of the example tracks for my articles at HarmonicaSessions.com

For audio, I use Sound Forge.
For MIDI, I use Sonar 7, but will use BIAB to generate information and then
