Madison has a highly varied music scene. If you are after blues, you 
have to see Westside Andy and Mel Ford at the Hody. No cover and smoke 
free. They play every Thursday night barring an out of town trip. Andy 
will blow you away. He is also very nice and approachable and will help 
steer you on what is up locally. You can also pick up an Isthmus, a free 
newspaper that will list all of the entertainment for the week. They are 
all over town in various stores, etc. for the taking. For more blues,
