To me it's full circle. IMHO the Blues is the mother of so much music.
Every vocal style to me that has slurs, bends, little quarter tone scoops
has some blues in its genes. When I hear Prince's guitar solos I hear
blues in it. 

I thank God there is a good harmonica player in a high profile group.
I hope it trickles down to the rest of us so we can all get more work.
