[Harp-L] Kim Wilson show in Raleigh

I went to see Kim Wilson in Raleigh NC last night. Admission was $15.00. What a deal !! He --of course was awesome and I got to talk with him a while. He was playing through an original 59 Bassman that sounded great. He also had a 62 Bassman that was in a 410 cab that he let my pal Mel Melton play through on a couple of tunes. Mel used to play with Sonny Landreth and co-penned Congo Square. He owns a Cajun restaraunt near by and had a Harp Blow-Off the night before with himself, Little Ronnie(from DC) and Fingers Taylor. Turns out Fingers Taylor was a NO-SHOW.
I think they were supposed to have a couple of more dates with that line-up ending up in Richmond. If anybody catches the show, please report back if Fingers shows up.
Anyway.............I'll be excited to hear about the Mass. show later on with the Kim Wilson Band and how it goes with Scooters amps on the gig.
By the way................Kim played through at least 6 different mics throughout the evening. A couple of them we're delivered to him at the show by a guy I only heard mentioned as Mr. Green. Any info about him from any of you out there? He also had a mint condition--new in the box--chrome mic that looked real similar to an Astatic T3, but it was a little smaller. Beautiful mic. He played through so many mics I couldn't keep up.
His tone is pretty much the same no matter what he plays through, though. AWESOME !!!
