Hi,
He's definitely playing a 64 in C, which is 1st position. This tune is actually "Going To Chicago," which I believe was originally done by Count Basie.

Chicago City is in C. I haven't worked it out in a while but I would think George is using a Bb 270 or he might be playing a 64 in C as he was known to do on occasion.

Hi
have got back into the chromatic recently and am learning a George Smith track 'Chicago City'. I am using a key C super 64 and have been playing the lick with the button and mainly based around the scale using the button. ???
Does anyone know if that was what he was doing or was he using a different key Chro?
many thanks
Tom C
