To this I might add the Lee Oskar Melody Maker -- which allows a complete 
diatonic scale in 2nd position also might be a good choice.

Ode is playable on a solo tuned diatonic in any octave and in holes 4-7 on 
the Richter. 

But many people have said second position sounds better BECAUSE it is mostly 
inhale as draw notes resonate better than blow notes.

I haven't explored the Spiral Tuning or the Four Key Tuning to see it they 
would work.
