Anyone know if the Sacramento site will have walking access to goods and
services? There's only so much same same food and dimly lit halls a
person can take. My favourite thing about St Louis a couple of years
back was getting on the hotel shuttle heading to the airport and riding
the train down to the Arch then all the way through the cornfields to
the end of the line in Illinois. Coming back I hopped off on the
Illinois side and walked back over the Eads bridge next to the casino
and the river. Dallas was tough. Trapped in the industrial park ghetto
near the airport. There was no way out without a car. (thank you
Stephen) Say what you will about the Summit but at least you could walk
just about everywhere in Minneapolis. SPAH's fun and all but it's nice
to head off campus every now and again. Big chunk of change. Now that I
think of it my favourite harmonica event venue so far was the Grand
Canyon even if the food was just as bad as that Denny's in Dallas. fjm
