Great clip but I would argue Cotton's best tone was on the Verve albums from
which this tune, "Blues in my Sleep" came. Have you heard it? There's a good
compilation called "Best of the Verve Years".
Interestingly, the tone on those albums IS distorted and crunchy. You say
potato, I say potato.
