I received a couple of emails about the gear used in this video.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p92dIVjrkO4 That's a stock Shure 545 with an audio-technica wireless transmitter taped to the body of the mic.  The receiver is driving a Spirit amp, which helps to provide the monstrous tone you can hear in the video...
