[Harp-L] RE: Bar Stool as a Harp Stand

Now this is an important topic! I would suggest the following as an upgrade
to the cheapo option mentioned earlier:
<goog_1245770166577>Your Zone Folding Stool Stadium
Blue<http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=11040119>It
folds and comes in Stadium Blue. What better for those stadium blues gigs.
(Actually I have a black one from Walmart but I could not find it on their
site.) These are much more portable for those small trunk spaces.

I would also suggest getting a Female Microphone Stand
Flange<http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/308361-REG/Atlas_AD_11E_AD_11E_Surface_Mount_Microphone.html>and
attaching it to a board (That fits in your case) or your case and
making
an even more portable stand. Just add microphone stand!

Personally I find the time I spend organizing and tricking out my equipment
much more enjoyable than actually playing. That is why I am mediocre at
playing but have really cool stuff on stage.

"When I saw Charlie Musselwhite at Greeley Blues Jam he was using an el
cheapo wooden bar stool as a harp stand. I thought that was exremely cool
because I use an identical bar stool. "

"This in no way negates Charlie's endorsement of the The Aeron® Chair from
Herman Miller® as a harp stand. Charlie only uses El Cheapo® bar stools as
harp stands when he has to fly to a gig."
