Occasionally I use an old Korg Toneworks G4 Leslie Simulator. They don't make them anymore and that's a shame. These things are as close to a Leslie as I've ever heard. There's a drive pedal on it and you can set the speed of the horn and rotor. Also............there are mic placement dials to set it up for wide dispersment or close micing.
You can run it in stereo if you desire too. I don't know why they stopped making these things. Occasionally you can find one on ebay. The cost new was around $400.00. I'd never get rid of mine.
