[Harp-L] RE: Now taking orders for custom American Chestnut harmonicas

Hi Geoff,

Of course, they're meant to be played.

On stainless steel combs,
there are a lot of guys on the board who have fooled with it
before, so they will probably have a better answer than I. However,
I think you'll be back on the old drill press with a good, sharp,
oil-lubricated bit.

Washington County, Ohio in the late 1700s) might have taken a leak on the
tree)..unquote....and of course their gundogs, not to mention the deposits
of a thousand pigeons and barn owls...
I assume the harps will be for display cabinets only? :D

Joking aside, I've just had a dozen 6mm thick combs laser-cut from good
old-fashioned autoclave-able stainless steel. Problem is getting them
drilled, lasers can't "drill" small diameters. Any suggestions?
