[Harp-L] Jazz Jams at SPAH 2009 - and not just jazz

Elizabeth wishes:

"(now who's
going to be listening in 'with big ears' when we suggest there should be as
great a jazz night at SPAH for those of us not the at the 'pro'
level?)."

In a separate post, Randy Singer mentions that he will be using Band-in-a-Box for his hallway jazz jams.

OK, so a hallway jam isn't the same as a nightclub with a live band in front of an audience. But is a nice low-pressure opportunity to get your feet wet in the ocean of jazz improvisation.

Randy's behind-the-scenes work to ensure that jazz harmonica is a vital part of SPAH is just one more example of the enthusiasm and can-do attitude that makes SPAH such an amazing experience.

Not into jazz? How about the harmonica-band playalong jams on some great old chestnuts? Or the blue grass jams with banjo, mandolin, and guitar? Or the nightly blues jam, or some of the other "wildcat" jams that erupt in every nook and cranny?

Experience it for yourself - come to SPAH 2009 in Sacramento. You'll be amazed and glad you took the plunge.
