To all:
Reading thru the many posts regarding SPAH and/or local harmonica festivals
and conventions prompted me to assemble the attached list of the varied
festivals. I think most readers will be amazed at the many and repeated
gatherings listed, though the list does not include every single fest -
only those
which I personally attended, and had a little input.
As the festivals grew over the years, and spread across the country, many
more local areas became interested, and the events spread to Canada,
New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Ohio, etc, etc. Definitely had a
great start
in the Eastern States, prior to spreading further West and the Deep South.
Have fun, enjoy the history of the organization, and help it continue to
grow!
Regards,
Danny
