I remember way back when in NYC I used to be the doorman at a popular blues
club on 2nd Ave and 29th street. John used to play there often and would
talk with me sometimes in between sets. He told me I should quit smoking. I
quit shortly there after and haven't had one in 12 years. I used to love to
see him in the small clubs, he would give you goose bumps...
