Tell that person that a professional harmonica player uses all the same expensive gear that other musicians use - amplifiers, microphones, speakers, effects boxes, etc., and then tell them that if they don't want your business, you can take it elsewhere. Pause a moment for effect, and if they don't start to apologize, turn around and walk out.
