Now, we are getting somewhere. Somewhere back there; I think 2002, Mitch was touring the west coast with Terry Robb and a friend of mine, Mike Lopez from St. Inez CA. on bass.
They played a gig at the lodge on Mt. Hood east of Portland. Paul delay made the drive up from Portland to see the new kid in his territory. Paul and Terry were old friends, so he set in and Mitch and Paul ended up playing complimentary dueling harps. delay gave Mitch his seal of approval and they played together again at the harmonica blowout during the Waterfront Blues Festival.
