RE: [Harp-L] This ever happen to travelling harp players?



Rob,
I actually was amazed how much humour 'sonsofmaxwell' are bringing
up for such a serious issue. On the other hand it can only be
handled with humour - otherwise it's such a sad issue that you only
could cry... from all of what I heard.

So far I cannot complain about Airport Security with my
harmonicas. Last year the guy in Heathrow grinned at me when
he X-rayed my carry-on, saying: 'Harmonica player - eh?'

But since I want to avoid a trashed guitar I always rent one
when we are travelling to the US, leaving me with a cheap, crappy
plywood guitar and making me wish I could afford one of these 
foldable ones...

Such problems ;-)
