I know that in the mid-80's Rick Estrin mad a real effort to improve  
his vocals.
We discussed it at a gig and I read it again in an interview at the  
time.
He was always a hoot on stage and The guy cracks me up.

I am going to have to check out Dave Nevling...does he play the west  
coast?
