Harps, teeth and short funds have some spiritual connection, no?

The awful truth is that my mother warned me about this.

She really did.

'N'other creepy story from the naked city of smokey-joe
It was 1991? I was dispatched to the Camp Hill (Pa.) prison riot.
Several people were injured (mostly COs...that's custodial officers)
Only 1 trooper injured. Me.
Broken face..2 cheeks, dislocated jaw, jaw fractured in 3 places. Teeth broken off at gums.
Plastic surgery required.
This after a hellatious helicopter accident in 1976? 77? the great eastern flood. I was rescue swimmer.
I was the only survivor..broken jaw.

Pennsylvania would have paid ANYTHING. I elected to merely have the teeth removed.
Why? with all the pins and wires, I wasn't able to get implants anyway. Not enough space. Not enough solid bone.
Without being able to brace my lower lip, I had to quit trumpet. No big deal.
I have both dentures, and it's great. no pain, no aggravation. I sometimes take the uppers OUT to play.
Btw: I am 'strictly' a tongue blocker.
