I think you mean Draw 5 as an avoid note, not Draw 4. Draw 9 would be an octave higher than Draw 5.

To play minor in fifth position, use blow 2 for root, don't bend anything but 3 draw, and try to stay away from draw 4 and draw 9 except on the V chord. If you do this, it's actually pretty hard to hit a really bad note if the tune is in a natural minor key. It's actually a lot like playing in second position. The breath pattern for the minor pentatonic scale in fifth position is identical to the breath pattern for the major pentatonic scale in second position.
