Re: [Harp-L] books about jazz chromatic harmonica
Hi Winslow,
Yes, I'll be doing a 15 minute set on FRI afternoon with other SUZUKI
endorsees..backed up by the great ROGER SMITH Organist with TOWER OF POWER!
I'm very excited about working with Brendan and the whole Suzuki team to
continually improve our instrument for players of ALL styles!
I'll play some Robert Johnson to Sonny Rollins in 15 minutes on both my
Suzuki Diatonics as well as my Fabulous 48 Chromatic! and maybe sneak in
somethin' off my new CD which i will bring to sell etc....other sets will be
by Joe Powers, Brendan & Gregoire Maret who works with Herbie Hancock and
Marcus Miller....I introduced Gegoire to the NY Top Brass Reedsters Club I
had in NY in the 90's ! On Friday evening you will be treated to Koei Tanaka
from Japan he is a wonderful young player from Japan that I got to know last
December when he spent Christmas with my Family in New Jersey!
What a great SPAH it will be...
see y'all out there

PS....my new CD "Etruscan Soul" is available for CD or Download (70

Thanks, Rob.
And while most of us know Rob as a fantastic singer and tasty diatonic
player, I've heard this man play some fiiine jazz chromatic.
As you may know, Rob will be featured at SPAH 2009, taking time from his
busy schedule fronting Blood, Sweat and Tears.
You going to be favoring us with some chromatic licks on your new Suzuki
Fabulous, Rob?
