Cellphone Blues

 

Don't got no contacts

Can't call no friends

Ever since my cellphone

Met an untimely end.

 

Gettin' into my Jeep

I was headin for home

But I didn't notice

That I'd dropped my phone.

 

It fell from my pocket

And I didn't see

Now I can't call no-one

And no-one calls me.

 

My cellphone is dead now

Crushed by my rear wheel

Got the cellphone blues now

That's just how I feel.

 

I been at this phonebooth

For quite a long time

Tryin' to get someone

To lend me a dime.

 

But they all ignore me

They couldn't care less

Bout a broken-down man

Who's cellular phone-less.

 

So if you're gonna call me

Now I don't have no "roam"

You'll just haveta wait

Until I get home.

LOLOL ... Now if there was ever a story to be told in a modern day
blues song, THIS would be it.
 
How about it Splash / Everyone? Perhaps a song contest in the making?
